I've been encouraged to start a Spin-A-Long for Weekend Spinners. This is just the beginning of what I hope will be a great place for people to blog about their spinning ventures, whether you're brand new to the world of spinning or have been spinning for more years than you can remember.
I've been spinning with a spindle for a year and a half. When Ed began making beautiful Turkish Drop Spindles to sell I found myself learning to spin by default. A new passion was born within weeks. From Corriedale to Blue Faced Leicester to Silk I'm slowly exploring the various fibers.
At the moment I need to go make a pizza for the kids and friends coming to dinner tonight. Does spinning a pizza crust count?

Oh Wanda, I think this is a fabulous site...might even get me going...
Of course spinning a pizza counts.. it is just another palette. What a great idea to get the season off to brand new beginning. I'll pass this along to another group of Saturday spinners, I'l bet they'd like to join in.
