Newbie to Weekend Whirls

Hi! I'm a newbie to the blog. Been lurking for a couple of weeks, and just love perusing the entries and visiting everyone's regular blogs. I've been spinning for about a year, with about a two month lull during that time. I stupidly thought that I had too many hobbies, and in an effort to cut back, sold my Ashford Joy and all things fibery. After about six weeks or so, I found myself reading the spinning blogs again, thinking I could survive by partaking of bits and pieces online. And having it suffice. Hahahahahaha. Pretty soon I was tearing the house apart, looking for my spindle, and damn, I knew that I had saved a little bit of fiber somewhere. Spindle spinning is nice, and was how I got started spinning, but there is nothing like a good zen state wheel spin. Bought me another Ashford Joy, and then about a month after that I bought a Majacraft Rose. I love the Joy, but I'm mad about the Rose. The bobbin size is to die for, and the plying set is the cat's meow. I love to knit, but I swear I'd spin even if I didn't. Here's the latest - a pic of Spunky Eclectic's latest fiber club called Dandy Lions, about 8.5 ounces spun 2ply:

And a close up just because I love closeups, lol:
