Three Ages of Hand spun

I have now plied my new batch of hand spun. I have pictured it alongside my previous batch by way of comparison. There is a definite improvement I think but the journey is yet young. Good job I am enjoying every step!

All three skeins look lovely to me. The later ones might be more even but the first one is just as pretty in its own way. That's one of the best things about spinning if you ask me. It usually turns out pretty, even if it doesn't always turn out the way one envisioned it. Your latest skein is a lovely even and balanced beauty.

Plying two distinct colors really makes the difference even more dramatic. I agree with Ronni, they are all lovely, but very different. And truly, if you are enjoying it, that's the best part.

Great photo!

Each skein has it's own voice, but together, they harmonize with each other!!

They are all great yarns and I am so glad you are enjoying the journey :) I still love my first lumpy bumby spun yarns when it was enough to get the fleece on to a bobbin :)
