Whirling around

Despite having company this weekend I did squeeze in some spinning. I pulled out some Corriedale pencil roving and had a go with it. This is the first time I've spun Corriedale and the pencil roving was quite easy to work with. I divided it into fourths by weight and plan to do a 2-ply with it.

Lovely colors! I'm waiting for some CMF pencil roving to arrive and it looks like you are making quick work of it. Looking forward to seeing it plied.

Lovely colours and it sure looks like it would spin lovely. I have never tried pencil rovings at all; not even sure if I can get them in the UK

After I started spinning with it I wondered if I oughtn't have knitted something with it instead. There were some felted bowls in Spin Off a few years ago that would have been nice with this. Maybe next time, eh?

Lovely colours ( but then I may be a bit biased) I'm spinning up a lb of that colour to make a Lady Eleanor Wrap fro Scarf Style. I decided to chain ply it to keep the colours seperated . I will be interested to see what yours looks like 2 ply :-)
